The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It is one of the parks in Tanzania that has the most dramatic game viewing. The abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) fill the landscape, and provide a home to different kinds of birds. The park is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones.

It’s tree-climbing lions and rock pythons are its other center of attention. The grassland, river, and swamps found here are home to big cats, zebras, giraffe, antelopes, hyenas, wart-hogs, baboons, buffalos, hippo and with more than 550 bird species abiding the park.
